Nirritis (niritis, nairitas, nairites), described in the Veda and the Indian epos - a variety of Rakshasas. Their lord was the god of destruction Nirriti (Niriti) or demoness Nirriti (Niriti) bearing death. Nirritis (as Yakshas and Rakshasas) were in Kubera service - the god of the treasures.
