Scientists have found out, there have been becoming on our planet not only warmer, but also more dark. They believe that over the past few years a quantity of the sunlight which is reaching the Earth's surface, has reduced on 20 percents (from 10 to 35% - A.K.). The reason of it is atmospheric pollution (contamination) which favour the growth of cloudiness, acting the role of a peculiar shield.
The effect of "global darkening" can have severe effect on many aspects of life on the planet: from usage of solar energy to change of vegetation period for various plants.
Specialists believe that the reason of global darkening is increasing of content of microscopic fragments having anthropogenic genesisis, in atmosphere. Doctor Jim Hanssen from the Institute of Space Investigations of NASA at the Colombian university in New York notes thereupon: "The data of supervision on 100 weather stations located all over the world, show that quantity of soot (carbon black) in the atmosphere twice more than was supposed earlier".
