Earth in the early Miocene - a Strange World of Light and Dark Halvess

History of the Earth and mankind from the beginning of the Palaeocene till Crist

By any reason of the Oligocene-Miocene catastrophe (collision of Earth and asteroid, world war, or the train of wars which have outgrown in world war), after this position of the terrestrial axis had change from inclined (oblique, sloping) in the Oligocene to erect (upright) position in the early Miocene,

(In my later work, "The most important catastrophe in the history of Earth during which mankind appeared. When it happened?" it is considered an alternative possibility of change of the Earth's axis position from inclined in the Oligocene to almost horizontal, as on Uranus in the Early Miocene)

and the speed of planet rotation around its axis had became approximately equal to speed of Earth rotation around the Sun. As a result of this the Earth began to consist of two "polar" half. In a dark half (approximately modern western hemisphere) there were North America and South America separated by the sea basin. In a light half roughly corresponding to the modern east hemisphere, there were Hindustan, Sumer, Egypt, Africa, Arabia and Europe.

Japanese legend about dipping of the Earth in a gloom in connection with leaving of sun goddess Amaterasu in a grotto under land after her reviling by Susanoo that, most likely, characterises Oligocene - Miocene catastrophe, and fragmentary history of East China from the end of Oligocene to Middle Miocene (details in my book "Battles of ancient gods") allows to assume that Japan, as North America and the America, was on a dark half of the Earth in the Early Miocene. East China, possibly, was partly on a nayward of the Earth, and particulate occupied transitive area between a light and a dark half. Such geography of the Early Miocene epoch was possible only in that event when the dark hemisphere had been shifted towards Pacific Ocean (relative to the modern western hemisphere), and northern geographical pole was in an area of Europe.
However, such, apparently, was not possible. The matter is that in such position of the northern pole a considerable part of Hyperborea occupied by adityas, including a site of the northern pole in the modern era and the Paleocene-Eocene epoch (Jan Mayen ridge), should be dipped in darkness. But Old Iranian "Avesta" affirms that "the fastigium of a high mount of Hara [mounts on the northern pole, compared with Meru - the former northern pole] from which Harahvati flows down, rises in the middle of Hvaniraty [Hyperborea], and the sun rotates around it so that one half of world is always submersed in darkness, and another half is shined". In "Yoga-sutra" of Patanjali and "Vjasa-bhasha" narrate:

"Vasumati [the Earth] with its seven continents, in the centre of which Sumeru the gold tsarina of mounts [rises]… southern part of the sky over it has dark blue [colour] … east - white colour; western - is transparent …; northern - purple colour.".

Both these statements, most likely, testify that in  the early Miocene one part of Hyperborea was placed in a light half of Earth, and its other part - in a dark one. The Northern pole which in all three sources is compared with a world mount of Meru occupied the position close to its modern site or in the Paleocene-Eocene epoch. So, the time of darkness described in Japanese legends was in other time (or characterised the same Oligocene - Miocene catastrophe, but was much less long), or Japan was near to the border of a dark and a light half of the Earth, remaining in a dark area.

Attention! As I have already written in this section summarizing the results of my three books, written almost three years ago, the time is passing - the views are changing. In my article "The most important catastrophe in the history of Earth during which mankind appeared. When it happened?" the possibility of a fundamentally different position of Earth's axis in the Early Miocene is examined, with its turn of nearly 90 degrees in relation to the location of the Earth's axis in the Oligocene. This, apparently, also took place during the catastrophe on Mars.

On a light half of the Earth "light" gods (the most different beings) continued to live and chthonic  forces (different beings too) had found a shelter. They lived underground in cave cities. According to the myths of Maya, Nàhuà and Aztecs one of the largest such cities was called as . As I have shown in the chapter "Tulan and Chimostok - the underground labyrinths of South America! Their investigation will give invaluable stuff on mankind history" cave cities occupied the huge areas under South America and correspond to the branchy and pluristratal system of tunnels spread to thousand kilometers from Colombia to Chile and Argentina.
