Great catastrophes in the history of Earth

In the "Great catastrophes in the history of Earth" by A.Koltypin there are considered the main geologic events (benchmarks) which were occuring during global catastrophes at the Permian-Triassic boundary, the Cretaceous-Palaeogen boundary and at the bondaries of other geological epochs. The evidences are given that all global catastrophes on the Earth run approximately under the same scenario: strongest tectonic and volcanic activity - fires - gloom - frosts - oxygen content downturn - rise of sea level = great deluges - acid rains. At the expense of all these events extinction of a larger part of animals and plants, lived on the Earth, took place. The scenario of catastrophes matches with surprising accuracy to the catastrophe descriptions in legends of different people and to the scenario of nuclear war, worked out by American scientists K. Great catastrophe on Mars
The data received by American orbit space stations, landers and mars rovers give evidence concerning the presence of great amount of fine clastic sedimentary rocks on Mars which have deposited in the existed tens - first millions years ago oceans and seas. The average annual temperature on Martian equator thanks to greenhouse effect could attain then +30°C. First millions - hundreds (perhaps, tens) thousand years ago immensely strong tectonic and volcanic activity appeared on Mars, in the result of which seas and oceans disappeared from the planet face and basalts effused on great areas, and also a change of conditions of sedimentations from terrigenous marine to sedimentation of salts in continental conditions took place. The reason of it was the global catastrophe connecting with impact of Mars with an asteroid (asteroids), remnants of which are Fobos and Deymos. Dzhafar Arkani-Hamed from Canadian University of Makgil has calculated that during the catastrophe there was a shift of the rotation axis of Mars not less than on 30 degrees (read full comment in English...)

Catastrophes on Earth and Mars - united links of space catastrophes
In the "Catastrophes on the Earth and Mars - united links of space catastrophes" by A. Koltypin common peculiarities of sediments, deposited in the periods of global catastrophes on  Earth and Mars are considered. It is rusty and brownish-brown colour of rocks related to heightened contents of oxides and hydrooxides of iron, presence of microspheric iron concretions, heightened contents of gypsum in sediments etc. All these characteristics indicate that sedimentation in the periods of catastrophes occured in continental conditions with participation of acid rains saturated with sulfuric acid, during regression of the sea and denudation of former deposits by a disastrous surge of tsunami up to 4-5 km in altitude  (read full comment in English...)

Mars before and after a catastrophe. Thoughts about a life on the Red planet
Examination of photos of Mars received by American orbit flight vehicles of Viking Orbiter 1 and Viking Orbiter 2 in 1976-1980 and of Global Surveyor Orbiter in 1997-2003 allowed a number of explorers to put forward the assumption of existence in the northern half of Mars in the past an ocean or several connected seas. On a large extent of the Martian surface - Amazonis -Arcadia planitias (plains) and Terra Sirenum-Likus sulci (lowlands) boundaries, Acidalia-Chryse planitias (plains) and Tempe-Arabia terras (lowlands) boundaries and in other places - outlines of an ancient sealine are good distinctive. In the "Mars before and after catastrophe. Thoughts about a life on the Red planet" by A. Koltypin analysis of blank, topographic and relief maps of Mars was carried out. On the basis of such analysis the ancient Martian ocean 6-8 km  in depth,  (named by the author) the Great Northern ocean, was outlined in the northern part of Mars, and the ancient continent Tsarsis with plains and raises from 1 to 7 km in altitude with separate mountain chains up to 9 km and volcanoes up to 30 km - in the southern part of Mars (read full comment in English...)

In the philosophical work "History of Mars - the warning to inhabitants of Earth" by A. Koltypin thoughts of the author concerning what was primary - the god Mars (Nergal, Ares, Veretranga e.a.) or the planet Mars, and what had entitled that, are given. How Phaeton has perished?
In the "How Phaeton has perished?" by A. Koltypin the data in favour of possible existence in the Solar system, between orbits of Mars and Jupiter, in the past of Planets N 5 - Phaeton, destroyed in the result of some space catastrophe, are considered. Phaeton existence, particularly, is confirmed by the pattern of alteration of composition of asteroids from the asteroid belt between orbits of Mars and Jupiter - from ferrous and stone asteroids closer to the Sun to carbonaceous asteroids at deleting from it. The surface of the asteroid Ceres consists of minerals similar to earth clay and maintaining about 10 % of water. The asteroid Vesta has characters of availability of basaltic crust covering with olivin mantle. Judgements of different explorers about possible size of Phaeton and thougths of the author about  time of its perishing are given. The most interesting parts of this work, probably, are speculations of the author of  possible causes of destruction of Phaeton, and the hypothesis put forward by him about a probable war between inhabitants of Phaeton and Mars in the result of which both these planets had been almost simultaneously destroyed (read more...)

Phaeton, Mars, Earth, the following - Venus! (in 3 parts)
A.Koltypin's work "Phaeton, Mars, Earth, the following - Venus!" consists of three parts. In the first part characteristic features of planet of Venus are described - its position in the Solar system, a character of orbital motion of Venus and its rotation around the axis, the atmosphere, climate, relief of Venusian surface, volcanic and tectonic activity, rocks and inner structure of Venus... In the third, final part of the work, the basic differences between Earth and Venus, the main of which is the slow rotation of Venus about the axis, are considered. The conclusion is done that if an asteroid will collide with Venus or the future Earth civilization will strike to it precisely calculated blow from some superpower weapon that, with a high probability, there will be a life on it. Venus is considered as the reserve planet for life of the earth dwellers. Its future geography with display of approximate boundaries of oceans and continents is given (read full comment in English...)

Satellite of Saturn Titan - a far twin of Earth
In the "Satellite of Saturn, Titan - the far twin of Earth" by A. Koltypin characteristic features of structure and constitution of the largest satellite of Saturn and of the third in size satellite in the Solar system - Titan, which is very similar to the planet of Earth, are described. There are dense atmosphere and rains on Titan, as well as on Earth, and on Titan's surface mountains, deserts, "hot" springs, rivers, which flow into numerous lakes and seas, presents. The Earth in Early Paleogene and the Planet Uranus are Twins, Brothers!? What Unexpected Conclusions is it Possible to Come to on a Joint of Astronomy, Geology and Folklore?
External similarity of the image of the Earth at the beginning of the Paleogene with photos of Uranus can hide behind something more.  We can consider Uranus, along with other giant planets, as comparable by the size with the Earth solid stone or rather even, iron-stony planet. There are Uranus core shipped in liquid or, more possibly, air cover – so-called ice bark or mantle of Uranus above which the "water-steam" cover – the so-called atmosphere of Uranus lies.
